The 18th ASK 14 Meet took place from June 11 to 14, 2026, at the Klein Gartz gliding airfield in Salzwedel. The event was organized by Olaf Löhrke and Finn Kaufmann.

Nine participants from Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Germany attended the gathering. Some arrived as early as the preceding weekend, while two ASK 14 pilots flew directly to Salzwedel from their home airfields. Renatas Samulenas and his wife Giedre, traveling from Lithuania, covered the greatest distance to attend this year's event. The weather was not kind to the participants this year; however, despite thunderstorms and hail, cross-country flights exceeding 252 km were achieved—with the flight on June 11 even securing the top spot in the OLC rankings.

The participants extend their sincere thanks to LSV Salzwedel, as well as its board and members, for their hospitality, excellent catering, and the red ASK 14 caps.

All ASK 14 enthusiasts can look forward to the 19th meet next year. The dates have already been set for June 17–20, 2027. Jan van de Ven from the Netherlands has kindly offered to host the event at the Venlo airfield. An invitation and further details will follow once the venue has been finalized with the local board.
